Business-community engagement event series with the LVSC
We’ve been working with the London Voluntary Service Council since 2012 to provide Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations (VCSOs) with business engagement thought leadership, training and best practice-sharing opportunities. Delivered through it's London for All programme: a London Council’s funded project designed to capacity build London’s voluntary and community sector, our work with the LVSC focuses on offering VCSOs practical guidance on engaging and partnering with business, providing a motivational yet realistic insight into what business engagement entails. Our training events include a Q&A session with a panel of business representatives who answer questions on how Social Responsibility partnerships work from a private sector perspective.
Here is a short film about a unique, facilitated discussion event we ran that brought together a cross-sector audience to discuss the future of voluntary-private sector partnerships. Hosted by commercial law firm CMS Cameron McKenna, the event provided an opportunity for private and voluntary sector representatives to reflect on their experiences of working in partnership, and to share their hopes and ambitions for working together moving forward.
